Bulleys helping firms expand in the Black Country

Black Country property specialists Bulleys have brokered two major lettings on Wednesbury Trading Estate.

Irpen UK has taken a lease on units totaling 16,293 sq ft.

It is a specialist manufacturer and distributors of cast acrylic sheet and also has a base in Manchester.

It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Irpen S.A.U. group which has ten branches across Spain and outlets in France and Germany.

And Warwickshire cleaning supplies business Cherwell has taken 8,075 sq ft.

Cherwell is one of the UK’s leading distributors of catering, hygiene, janitorial and cleaning supplies.

A family run concern for over 35 years, it has its headquarters at the Kineton Road Industrial Estate, Southam. It supplies schools, the higher education sector, bars, hotels, restaurants, contract cleaners, facilities management, GPs, hospitals and vets.

The deals mean Bulleys have secured eight transactions on the estate so far this year, and other properties are under offer.

Block P has just come to the market, a 46,490 sq ft warehouse inclusive of a two storey office block. It has already generated good interest.

In addition, there is a host of other refurbished and un-refurbished units, many of the latter available on flexible 12-month deals.

Max Shelley, senior surveyor at Bulleys, said: “Wednesbury Trading Estate is situated off the main A41 Black Country New Road within half a mile of Wednesbury town centre.

“It enjoys excellent connections, is an established business location and well placed to service the West Midlands area.

“Since being instructed at the turn of the year we have achieved a deal there almost every month. We are very pleased at the way it has gone.”

Mr Shelley added: “The landlord has spent a lot of money upgrading security features on site including a new electric gate system and CCTV.”
