Unit 4 Richmond Street South. The building provides approximately 10,000 sq ft (929 sq m) of industrial accommodation with yard and car parking being prominently located overlooking the A41.
The letting has been completed to Boulder Central to provide the Midlands biggest indoor bouldering centre. The centre provides a low level climbing facility with deep foam crash mats, but without the need for ropes or helmets. This new state-of-the art facility has a large variety of shapes and angles to suit all ages and climbing abilities. The colour coding of the climbing holds indicate the severity of a particular route, this ranges from complete beginner to championship standard.
The venue has many features including a kid’s area and traversing walls. For the more adventurous, the Shard and Cave provide a haven of roof sections. The awe-inspiring Wave wall provides overhangs galore for the more experienced climber. The Tower and top-out boulder provide different challenges.
Boulder Central is able to offer group bookings such as birthday parties, children’s clubs, and corporate days.
Adam Priest, Senior Surveyor at Bulleys said “Boulder Central were keen to launch their new facility in the Black Country and Richmond Street South suited their needs perfectly due to its size, layout and importantly its close proximity to major roads etc”
Jonathan Chittenden, Managing Director of Boulder Central commented “We particularly appreciated the help that Bulleys gave us in securing this property. We are extremely pleased with this bouldering facility, and with the enthusiastic endorsements from climbers around the region. We have something for everyone to enjoy, whatever their climbing experience.”
